Wake me when it's over

Man am I tired. The store has been undergoing renovations for the last two weeks and that means I have had to be in there almost every day from early in the morning until late evening. I don't *do* mornings but the boss man summoneth.

I vaguely remember spending the weekend nights with Teri but I didn't really get to spend a lot of time with her what with all the working. She has been tired too but she has different reasons (they're aged 5 & 4).

I'm off to squeeze in a couple more hours of Teri time before crawling into bed.

Are you f*cking kidding me?

So, I came home from Teri's last night about 1:00 or so and the frigging doors to my house were locked! Phil (and, yes, Gary) were asleep inside and I was locked out. Man, I was pissed. I kicked as loud as I could on the front door but no one came. Finally, I had to try and jimmy the side door with a credit-card. Strangely enough, that woke Phil up. So, because Gary is in hiding from some guy he owes money, I get locked out of my own house? As Teri would say, "not just NO but FUCK NO". I told Phil that Gary is out today or I am putting him out. I'm not a violent man but this is pushing my frigging buttons.

Man, and I was in such a good mood too. Oh well. Tonight is a Teri night so my mood will improve throughout the day, I'm sure.

Awesome day

What a great day yesterday.

First of all, Phil went away to Calgary for the night so I had the place all to myself. I love that. I watch what I want to watch on TV or I play my music without worrying if it's too loud or annoying. Plus, I get to sleep with my door open which means my room doesn't get so hot. All good things. I'm really looking forward to getting my own place by December.

Teri and I got together twice yesterday! First, she came over about 1:00 and we hung out until it was time for her to go. Then, we got to out to dinner at East Side Mario's and just enjoy being near each other and talking and touching. I am like a lovesick puppy, I swear. She brings out the absolute best in me. She challenges me intellectually, excites me sexually, connects with me emotionally and attracts me physically. I have found the complete package. To top it off, we even chatted on the phone for a couple hours last night. It seems like we can't get enough of each other, yet we also are OK with giving each other space when it's needed. She's incredible and I love her immensely.

I got great news about my car yesterday. It may seem strange on the surface to view a $350 repair bill as great news but it means that the engine block isn't cracked so I'm NOT looking at a $1000 repair bill. Now, if I can just get rid of the dead mouse smell.

Last but not least, any day off work is a good day.

Oh well, back to it today. Carl is coming up from Calgary and he'll be cracking the whip all weekend. I'll go to Teri's tonight to hang out and I'll be sleeping over on Friday and Saturday so my weekend will have it's awesome spots as well so I can't bitch.

No surprise that I woke up in a great mood today after a day like that. It also doesn't hurt when I wake up to an email from Teri with sentiments like these..."I'd love to be laying next to you right now, waiting for my touches to wake you.....waiting for you to open your eyes and reach for me." *sigh* That girl can really paint a picture.

Whirlwind

With all I have going on right now, it should seem like getting back into Blogging is yet another straw strapped to the camel's back. However, it is because there is so much happening right now that I need this outlet. I need a place to vent, brag, bitch and clarify and I remember how therapeutic the last one was.

Red Deer was a good move. Even though I have days where I dearly miss my friends, it has brought me closer to my kids, my family and introduced me to some wonderful new characters in my life's play. The downside is the weather. The days are getting colder and it won't belong until the snow starts flying. Oh well. On the plus side, the skies are huge and colored a brilliant blue and at night I can actually see stars. I love it here.

Today is shaping up to be a great day. I got to sleep in, it's payday, I don't have to work and Teri is coming over this afternoon (yay!) Therefore, no offense, but I am off to start the adventure.
