Happy Birthday My Love

Today is Teri's 30th birthday and I get to spend it with her and the girls. This entry is for you sweetheart.

Thank you for everything you have given me. You have connected with my heart and I thank the universe every day for allowing me to find you.

You fill my heart with love, acceptance and peace and I love you immensely.

Here's to 70 more birthdays together and an eternity together in love.

You are my world.

So, how ya been?

Ok, OK, it's been a while since I updated here but I'm back (and this time it's personal).

Today I turn 40. Damn. I guess I've put it off as long as possible. I have to now officially face the fact that I am, in society's eyes at least, an adult

It has been a great birthday so far. I had a sleep-over at Teri's last night and the girls loved the fact that I was still here in the morning. We are all growing very close as a family (?!) and things are awesome.

The new job is cool. I am no longer running a music store. Although I loved it, the low $$ and corporate BS was taxing. Now I work for Frito-Lay as a Route Sales Rep. The money is about twice that of Music World and I'm usually home by 4 every day. That is a huge plus as then, as the girls say, "we get to see Faron before bed time". We are spending lots more time together and it's really cool.

Teri is getting the girls off to bed and I get to enjoy the evening with my love muffin so I am off. More, more often.

Lots of love to all.

Well, yesterday was pretty cool.

First of all, I got to work and within an hour I was arrested, booked, processed, judged, photographed and sentenced to jail with my bail set at $900. I was then thrown into a cage with a motley assortment of convicts. Some big, some small, some white, some of colour, all united by "the man". It was rough. I tell you, prison really does change a man.

OK, so I'm embellishing. The jail was the Canadian Cancer Society's Jail and Bail fund raising program and I was only in there for an hour or so. I managed to raise $330 for cancer thanks to some good friends and family. Thanks to all I was able to reach. Everyone contributed to my release and I had some great conversations with some dear friends that I hadn't talked to in a while.

Work was good. I hired a couple new people and they seem to actually be intelligent, good workers. Things are looking up. Then, after work, I went over to Teri's and played with Chase until he went home. He's a sweetie. Smart and lots of fun. He's a great kid. I won't get into what happened after everybody went home and Teri and I were alone but I'll just say it was a great night too. ;-)

I got a call from my sister this morning and my niece is in labour. It looks like we're getting a new family member today. We already know it's a girl and I'm excited to see her. Another baby to love. It's awesome.

I have to go and drive my parents around to try and find a new apartment so I'll close but before I do a HUGE virtual hug to everyone back home (I miss you guys).

Peace & Love
